Washington DC - With $32 billion circulating in the human trafficking industry, it is one of the largest industries in the world. Traffickers exploit the young and vulnerable in our world and completely strip them of their freedom and dignity. An incredible amount of money is flowing through this industry, with much of it happening right here in the United States.

the buying and selling of minors to his clients in Alexandria, Fairfax, Woodbridge and Maryland.

Some of the ways his victims were advertised were as "young high school students" and  girls "fresh out of the box." He provided the young victims with alcohol and drugs and motivated them to perform sexual acts with as many clients as possible. Profits of the sex trafficking ring ranged from $400-$500 on weekdays and $800-$900 on weekend days.

He was indicted on charges of sex trafficking of children and transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. He would rent out hotel rooms to arrange sex trade for minor victims. A fellow gang member said that he had an extensive list of clients, and his phone rang non-stop to schedule these appointments.

The indictment alleges that he trafficked girls between February 2008 and October 2010.  He is currently in custody pending a June 3 arraignment.
